Sara Marchong is a Kent based Musician and Composer. She is a talented pianist and vocalist specialising in the Classical and Pop genres. Sara was born in Hong Kong and moved to the UK aged three. When she was six, she started piano lessons which led her to a lifelong passion of music. At the age of eleven, she began singing full-time. 

 

During her time, studying Commercial Music at Canterbury Christ Church University, she was a soprano in CCSU Show Choir from 2018-2020. As part of Show Choir, she performed contemporary as well as musical theatre repertoire.

 

Her interests include film music, ballet and musical theatre. She also loves to travel around the world to experience the music of other countries. 

 

Sara’s work as a film composer includes Grace (2016), OK Google (2020) and The Highway Man (2010). Her expertise in global and historical music are reflected in her soundtracks that are evocative of the world of the film.
